AMNH’s NSF-funded longitudinal study, Staying in Science, engages youth co-researchers as a central feature of our research methodology with the aim of designing research that centers youth voices and experiences and is responsive to youths’ changing lives. Co-researchers are alumni of NYCSRMC programs, grew up in NYC, and attended NYC schools. Co-researchers reflect the diversity of the NYCSRMC and the variety of academic and career pathways of the youth participating in Staying in Science.
